Need a floor plan to go with you EPC or sale perticullars?

Floor plans can be 2D or 3D.

The cost will be dependant on the size of property.

If you implement any of the energy efficiency reccommendations outlined in your EPC, you may wish to get a fresh EPC done to include these improvements.

Energy Performance Certificates

Much like the multi-coloured sticker on new appliances, EPCs tell you how energy efficient a building is and give it a rating from A (very efficient) to G (inefficient). EPCs let the person who will use the building know how costly it will be to heat and light, and what its carbon dioxide emissions are likely to be.

The EPC will also state what the energy-efficiency rating could be if improvements are made, and highlights cost-effective ways to achieve a better rating.

Please see the table below for our prices.

Areas covered- PE, CB, NR, IP,LN, LE, NG.

Prices will vary if not in postcode areas above.

If you are looking to sell or rent your home, you will need an up to date Energy Performance Certificate. An EPC is valid for 10 years, however if changes are made within this period then an up to date certificate is advised.

You must get an approved Domestic Energy Assessor to produce the EPC.

Stormdry Masonry Protection

When masonry gets wet, it gets cold... and cold walls mean

cold buildings as heat escapes much more readily.

Protect your home from penetrating damp and increase the

thermal efficiency of masonry with Stormdry.

With its unique colourless cream formula, a simple onecoat

application will protect brick, stone and concrete from

rain penetration for 20-30 years, whilst allowing the masonry

to breathe and retain its original looks and features.

The UK government has set a target of an 80% reduction in

carbon emissions from buildings by 2050. (Climate Change

Act, 2008). Even now, a third of Britain’s housing stock has

solid wall construction and this is predominantly single

skin brick or stone. (English House Condition Survey, 2007).

Stormdry prevents rain penetration and is scientifically

proven to reduce heat loss in single skin masonry

construction, with an energy saving of up to 29%.

All in one simple single coat application.

Permeable construction materials such as brick, stone,

concrete, and mortar are worse insulators when they are wet;

much in the same way as wet clothes feel cold.

Testwork carried out by the University of Portsmouth has

shown that the treatment of brickwork with Stormdry reduces

conductive heat loss by a factor of two. Tests on a model house

treated with Stormdry show a 29% reduction in heating energy.

This fact has been recognised in a UK Government initiative

and Safeguard has been awarded a grant to research the

impact the technology can make on carbon reduction targets

(see http://www.innovateuk.org).

The energy and carbon savings made possible by Stormdry

have now been independently verified in a study carried out

by Giraffe Innovation environmental consultants. A copy of the

report is available at www.stormdry.com.

Benefits of Stormdry

• Easy to apply• Provides water and rain repellency

• Reduces heat loss• Single-coat application - saves time

• Easy to estimate quantity of product required - each litre

treats 5m2

• Tested to BS EN ISO 15148:2002 on a wide range of substrates

- including bricks, mortars, concrete, and sandstone

• UV resistant - long life expectancy

• Does not block pores - allows substrate to ‘breathe naturally’

• Deeply penetrating - improves the effectiveness of the

treatment by bridging small cracks and extends the life of the treatment

• Alkali resistant - can be applied over freshly pointed walls

• Manufactured in the UK under an ISO9001/14001 quality and

Masonry Protection Cream environmental management system

Reduce energy bills by 29%

Keeps walls dry & warm

By creating a deep water-repellent zone on the masonry surface, Stormdry ensures that the masonry remains dry throughout the year. This maximises its thermal resistance, as dry walls are better insulators than wet walls. Testwork conducted by the University of Portsmouth using Stormdry suggests that energy saving of up to 29% are possible when Stormdry is applied to buildings of solid wall construction.

Approved by the British Board of Agrément (BBA) Certificate Number 15/5198

Stormdry is the only colourless masonry water repellent treatment that carries BBA approval. After extensive testing to determine continued water-repellency after aggressive freeze-thaw and UV exposure, the BBA issued a certificate with the following durability statement:

the product will remain effective as a masonry water repellent for 25 years.

Enhancing water resistance and energy performance

Stormdry has been tested to EN ISO15148:2002 (E), demonstrating its effectiveness on concrete, mortar, brick, and sandstone.

Renewable Energy Solutions

Renewables are a worthwhile environment and financial investment. The renewable heat incestive for more sustainable systems such as biomass, heat pumps and solar provides 7 year payments based on the heat demand of your home. Solar PV is still popular and can be intergrated with battery storage. So contact us now to disscuss how to generate your own energy and get paid for it.
